Jimsy Plus News is a place for people to post things, like personal pictures, stories, reviews, poems, thoughts, music, really (almost) anything they want to share.

I made it for my friends and family, like our own personal social media site to update each other on our lives without algorithms and bullshit ads being thrust upon us, but if you're a random person who found this place you might enjoy it too, although I'm not really sure how you got here.

Who/what is Jimsy?

Jimsy is my cat, and he's such a good cat that I thought he deserved his own website. Like how the Egyptians made shrines and temples for their cats. And how the internet as a whole is basically one big monument for cats. This is my small monument, as part of the bigger monument, or something.

I don't know, the whole internet-is-obsessed-with-cats thing kind of feels like an uncool millennial phenomenon but at this point I've already committed to the bit too hard and don't feel like getting a new domain name, so it is what it is I guess. It's not really all too important in the grand scheme of things now, is it?

Yeah, get it? it's Jimsy Plus. Like Disney Plus. And Discovery Plus, and ESPN Plus, and Paramount Plus. And all these other streaming services that are owned by the literal worst people in the world. Except my services are run by me and named after my cat.
