The new server is up and running
Telephone wires coiled wildly in my neighborhood.

In case you were wondering why, all of a sudden, I've made a news blog, it's because I finally got up the nerve to make the switch to new hardware for the server running this site.

I've got a 24TB hard-drive on this bad boy for media storage, so now I have a ton of requests to fill. If you have any Jellyfin requests and don't feel bad about adding more to my unpaid workload, here's the link to the requests portal:

I've gone ahead and put the links to all of my website services in the navigation bar at the top of this blog so you don't have to remember all of the individual subdomains.

I'm going to try to get a main website going on plain ol' JimsyPlus.com that links to everything, including this blog, when I have the energy. I've been doing a lot of web design at work so I might go nuts with it and add lots of fun little Javascript toys on it and little experiments.

Maybe in the next few months I'll have set up a groundhog cam in my backyard that automatically streams when it detects movement.

Scary blue light coming from the neighbor's house at night.

Right now I'm just trying to fill this blog with garbage so that it actually has "content" so people are more likely to want to post to it. Maybe I'll post a book review tomorrow or something. Bailey's thinking of doing that which should be fun.

Maybe I'll write short stories here, or a novel released one chapter at a time. The possibilities are endless!
